Every once in awhile when I start up the Tahoe in the garage I hear and feel a big clunk that sounds like it's coming from the transmission. (I say that because it kind of feels like it's coming from under the area of the drivers seat). It only happens when I first start it. No noises, slipping, whining or clunking while I'm driving or switch from drive to reverse. I've had the Hoe now for almost a year and it's only done this maybe three times but I'm a little concerned because this is obviously not a normal thing.

Anyone else ever have this issue???????:confused2:

My 07 yukon does this quite often. It feels like the transmission engaging like it was in N and going to 2h. Interested to see if anyone has any ideas or experience with this.

Yup yup, my 07 Hoe does this about every 5th ignition or so. Feels like a swift kick in the ass and sounds like a backfire. Not bad enough to take to the dealer... they'd probably screw it up worse. These are the same clowns that called to ask me which seat they were supposed to replace on a warranty issue (duh, the button cut outs make it pretty obvious).
