Traction Control Loss of Power

Looking for some help on my 2004 Tahoe AWD. This is a LT with 5.3 motor. When I take off the stability control msg comes up on the dash and I hear noises under the dash area. According to the book it says it has lost traction so it cuts the power to the motor. It has not lost traction as this is a repetitive thing. It happens all the time. It is getting worse. A friend says sensors. I don't know anything about the vehicle. Ideas? Where do I start? Thanks for any and all information. :help:

sounds like it could be abs sensor or something along that line of suspension sensors. honestly there are so many things that could cause this symptom that you would need the proper equipment even to just find out exactly whats going on

ABS

I have another local tell me to clean the sensor. Not sure how to clean it. But I will check out that area. Thanks for the info.

Yep wheel sensors mine just did the same thing had them both replaced problem solved
