Tow package or not; 2013

I am getting ready to purchase a used Tahoe. Between 2011-2013. I will be towing approx. 6000 lbs a couple times a year up and down bigs hills. The vehicles I am looking at has a hitch and a towing control on the shifter. The salesman is telling me that is has the towing package but no tranny cooler or anything mechanical. Is this correct? And do I even need any of that?

I would go for the added coolers

6000lbs is decent weight and depending on grading may be engine and transmission cooling, I think nealry all tahoes have towing package.....maybe standard

I would go for it becuase my tahoe has the towing package but it's not standard you have to get it as an option and if you do you lose your parking sensors for the front,rear becuase that's what I had to sacrifice you win some you lose some.
