To repair or not repair...P0171/P0174 Codes

2002 Tahoe with 126K...continually triggering P0171/0174 codes...seems to potentially indicate a intake manifold vacuum (or other vacuum leak)...no real problems other than somewhat decreased mileage (where 'mileage' is a relative term at this point!)... I understand "opening up" an engine with 126K on it could lead to a whole host of other issues... Just trying to get a feel for the best course of action...just live with it or go for a fix??? Any advice is much appreciated...

Fix it now before water jacket blows out . Does the intake come apart in two pieces? Did you check for vacuum leak? Most time vacuum leaks run better in the rain an get better mileage!
