Lining up my fall Saturday afternoon projects and replacing front struts/springs on the old lady's 07 Tahoe is on the list. I intend to go with pre-assembled strut/spring assembly. What is the verdict on an alignment afterwards, it seems like you hear both depending on who you ask.

If your going through all that trouble to replace those parts you might as well get an alignment. Springs are what set the ride height. Over time from, use and abuse, springs will eventually sag some. Which you will hardly notice, unless there is a broken one. One of the main variables in an alignment is the vehicle ride height. So i think an alignment is a good idea.
