Gretings from Denmark, Europe

Hello my fellow Tahoe truckers
I'm looking to buy a '96 4x4 k1500 lt Tahoe and was wandering if some one could help in terms of what to be especially careful to check before buying:
Is there certain areas that's more exposede to rust and wearedown ?
Are there any specific electrical/wiring issues that one should be on guard for ?
What should I look for to make sure stearing and wheel/transfers/mission is OK ?
What else should I check ?

Every reply would be much appreciated
Kind regards jakob

Intake manifold gaskets are pretty $hitty, and will leak coolant into the oil essentially ruining an engine, which is why you check the oil, if it is like new see how thick it is (motor honey/etc) to cover knocking....... If it is excessively dirty then probably not well maintained, if it is browinsh, water in oil......

Trans fluid black/ smells burned, trans is about burnt up......

I dont know I would worry too much about the other stuff, other guys can speak more for these rigs (I bought my first Tahoe few months ago, still in the works), I have owned 3 Sierras, my 96 Sierra was pretty close in setup..... Make shure the main stuff is solid (driveline)...
