looks good, I like the black wheels. What is the legal limit of tint on windows? Or is it different in each state? I'd like to put some tint in the front windows, does it make sense to tint the back ones that already have it in them?

Each state is different. I believe Ct is 35% down the sides and no limit on the rear window. Almost all states regulate to the AS1 line on the windshield. As for tinting your rears already over the fact tint, all depends on if you want it darker or not. I like the privacy and look, so I tinted double 5 on my rears and 5 on the front two doors.

I believe Texas is 35% as well and front down to the AS-1 line. No limit on the back if I recall correctly.

Trend Setta....

very nice looking Z you have there... Have you ever thought about painting your cladding black? That would look awesome...

Did you have the front lower valance painted or is that from an LTZ?

There's a guy in Lewisville, Texas that works at an Auto Tint/Stereo Installation place that has limo tint all around on his Tahoe SS. You can not see into any of the back or side windows AT ALL, and the windshield is so dark you can barely see the dash.

I wonder how safe it is for him to drive at night? There's no way he can see his side mirrors to any useful degree, and his windshield is friggin DARK. It's easily darker than my back window's stock tint.

It's a bit much really, and illegal as hell in Texas.

I had the bottom valence painted to match, and the cladding is being painted soon :) along with the rims and rippin off all the fender flares along with the roof rack...and speedr1023 It's nice having a truck that has all painted bumpers and grille and everything painted along with the truck I could care less about whether it's 4x4 or not...I was going to put a lift on it but when gas is almost $4 here I decided otherwise...and thank you for all the positive comments this site is full of great people...that actually know what they're talking about...better than the dealership :) sorry i keep having to edit this thing b/c i see more comments below haha... yeah and Texas is notorious for Window Tint...been there done that, they acted as if I had just robbed a bank haha...can't see out of my side mirrors? my windows have electric motors that lets them roll down :)...the winshield really isnt that bad at night higherlevelauto.com hooked me up with some hid's so it just cancels out being able to see at night :) and as of legal issues...go see an eye doctor and get a prescription that says the sun and bright lights at night hurt your eyes and your good to go!
