Tail light problem

I just got my 01 tahoe and the passenger tail light doesn't seem to work. I took the old bulb out and it was burnt so i went to pepboys and got the sylvania 3157 bulbs and put them in but it still doesn't work. Could the wire be pinch and is this a common problem for the tahoe and stuff?

I wouldn't say it's a common problem, but your wire could have a break somwhere or the socket contacts could be bad. Try cleaning the socket and see if that helps.

Check the back side of the socket as well. It's not unheard of for the wires to come loose on there...

Ok i solved the problem. It was a burnt fuse, the parking light fuse burnt.
