We seen in the 1995 Tahoe sales brochure that there were gloves included from the factory when the vehicle was new. Just wondering if anyone knows about these gloves or still has them? Where were they at, in along with the jack and handle? Or in the glove box or center console? If anyone still has them could you take a picture and post it here? We're curious as to what they look like. We're thinking they're black and maybe have the name Tahoe on them.

Mine where (are) in the jack compartment on the passenger side. They are off white with red rubber dots. I don't recall at the moment if it has Tahoe on them.

Thank you for the info on the gloves. If it's not asking too much could you post a picture when you have some spare time? Thanks again for the description of the gloves.

Porsches also come with gloves, and a 911 has torsion bar front springs....hmm...is a tahoe a porsche or is a 911 a chevy? ( we don't get the weird red steely spare like a porsche though, some spray paint maybe will fix that)

Thanks for the picture. We wanted to see these gloves because our Tahoes don't have them. It's hard to explain here, but with my dads old classic cars they have everything they left the factory with. It's cool to have things like this in an old vehicle. Now that we know what they look like I'm sure he'll be hunting them down for his Tahoe and mine. He won't use them, they're kinda useless like the cargo shade and net, but cool to have.

Thanks again Loulblades for taking the time for the picture. Oh, I meant to say yesterday your Tahoe looks pretty stout, very nice, all business looking without the frills.

Welcome for the pic. I understand the original equipment stuff. I have a 66 Mustang convertible.

Although these are from a 96 and yours is a 95, if you are interested in the gloves you can send me a prepaid envelope/box and they're yours (PM me for the address). I have a tire changing kit in a dry box mounted on the rear bumper that includes gloves.

Thanks for the comments. That's what I got this truck for, a functional towing and off road piece of equipment that looks decent and I'm not afraid to get dirty (ie: not too pretty).

Aww hey, that's a nice offer, but let your gloves stay with your Tahoe. I know it sounds weird, but we're weird like that, hahahaha.

My dad's 53 years old and has had his 65 Corvette for 33 years, his 74 for 30 years, his 85 for 5 years. We're not made of money, far from it, we struggle like most everyone else. Anyway, I guess he rubbed off on me keeping a car clean, the documentation and that whole bit and just enjoy a car anyway you want ya know.

I had a 97 Cavalier I started out with. Then I wanted a truck. My mom has a 02 Tblazer, but that wasn't me. I narrowed it down to a Tahoe as I like the boxy styling over the newer ones. It still looks like a truck. Anyway, my dad found mine on line 212 miles away here in PA. I really like my Tahoe, it's such a jump for me from the Cavalier. All I plan to do to it is 265 tires in time, install my used Lund windshield visor I got from ebay and replace the rusty needing replaced cat back exhaust.

I guess I wrote too much here. But one more comment on your Tahoe, I like how it sits up a little higher in the front. Gives it that, I'm ready here I come look.

My Yukon didn't have any gloves in it when I got it, so I threw a pair of Mechanix Fastfit gloves in with the jack.

I have some other stuff too, like the original wheels and tires, cheap. Actually those gloves may end up in the trash can one day because I don't use that storage compartment for the jack anymore.

White Oak is not far from me.

Well that's a good idea putting another brand gloves in. But it's not the same as having the originals, if that's what a person wants. Probably to most the original gloves don't mean a thing and they really don't. They're just someting cool to have.
