Greetings;
I am New to the forum. I would like to get advice of any kind about a couple Tahoe's I looking at, to buy one of them.
I am looking at:
A: 2009 Tahoe LS with just under 160000 miles, it has the 5.3l Flex Fuel engine.
&
A: 2010 Tahoe LS with 111,000 miles, and the 5.3l engine NON Flex Fuel.
I understand about the high mileage, would you give me advice on these two with the idea that they are Well Maintained and in Great Shape but have High Mileage.
Great Site!!
Thank You

The only thing with the FLEX engines are that the can run E85 ethanol as well as gas. The only advantage to E85 is that it is better for the environment due to the emissions. E85 actually gets worse gas millage and is more expensive and that's if you can find a station near you that carries it. If I were you I would go with the 2010 with less miles. It doesn't matter how well you maintain a vehicle, the factory spends millions of dollars engineering their vehicles to have specific parts break at specific times. So if both were well maintained, 2010 all the way. Good luck.
