Tahoe Colors

I know what you guys are thinking, but I'm curious...

What colors were these trucks made in, because on the net, in the listings they say a few different things, and im shopping for a certain "shade"
Because if im going to drive 180+ miles to buy it, i want to make sure its the color i want.

Now ive been seeing silver...
gray..
dark metallic gray....

Are these really 3 different colors or is grey and dark metallic the same?
Im looking for a black one, but if i can i want the darkest grey shade. How could I find this out, does anywhere in the VIN provide official color?

Vin will not provide paint color.

These are by no means actual colors but you can get an idea. I searched 06-04 because you didn't specify...

i know the darkest grey is charcoal or dark granite metallic or something like that i can picture it and cant find the name anywhere

anyone know what the metallic gold is officialy called? it looks like dookie with gold flakes IMO
