Tahoe and Suburban seats same? Heated seat element swap??

Can anyone tell me if Tahoe and Suburban Seats are the same? I just bought a 1999 Tahoe but the leather is really torn on them. I found a 1999 Suburban at pull a part and the front seats look the same. Are they? I would think they would be but wanted to ask. Also, how hard is it to remove a seat heater from a seat and install it into another seat? Can it be replaced easily or do you have to take the entire seat apart?

only deference between suburban's and tahoe's from 97-99 is that the suburban is heavier and longer that's about it..... so yeah seats are the same as long as the suburban is LT/LS which ever your HOE is....As for the heated seat u would have to tear the bottom leather on the seat u cant just remove so if the heater on the suburban seat works then just get the WHOLE SEAT GOOD LUCK

Went ahead and got both seats. They were easy to remove and both are heated. At $37 each I don't think I went wrong It's really a shame, there was a titlemax pawn sticker on the windshield. Looks like someone lost their SUV to them and they junked it. The interior was in great shape for a 1999 model. Rear seats were almost mint.
