I want to change the stereo in my 2013 Tahoe from a basic CD player to the best factory one with nav, is this possible? I have a 2013 Ram that came with a basic stereo and I bought a touch screen without Nav from a wreck and it plugged in and worked without a problem, even the Sirius was still working and did for about 6months, even one with Nav would have worked but I couldn't find one at the time. I want to know if this is possible with GM's because I know where to get one for the Tahoe with Nav.

Should work the same as long as all the plugs match and such, just make sure you check it out before you install it or buy it or whatnot.

Nope it will not work unfortunately it actually was canceled out starting on 2013 anything 2012 and older would work you would just need to get it programed but as of 2013 interchangeable stereo systems were canceled

I grabbed one off the shelf at a wrecker and it plugged right in and turned on fine but it was in the theft lock mode so I couldn't actually listen to it. Does anyone know what is involved in installing the Nav/sat antenna? Is it an additional harness that will just plug in or will it need to be spliced in?
