Hye Ive been having some questions and one on the big ones is that Ive been having trouble looking for the correct supercharger for my tahoe, there is this procharger from big 3 performance that cost $7800 and there a vortech supercharger that cost $4300 but its for the 2006 silverado which is a 5.3L there have been guys telling me that they have added the vortech supercharger for the silverado 2006 to there 2007 tahoes but I dont know if there enought space under the hood for it to fit, so I just want to know if the vortech supercharger can be addded to my 2007 tahoe? thankyou for your anwers!!!!

I have always been an advocate of natural aspiration. IMO an SC is a mistake.
But to each his own. Most find out after it's too late.

For the record I think we all kind of think Talks Cheap was full of crap on the whole procharger issue.

I know, after some of his replies and lack of good picture I think we all agree he was full of "caca".

I don't know about that! I built a custom turbo charge in a previous vehicle and never have a problem with it, never broke anything. Yes it is real easy to get carried away and if you don't know the limitations of your vehicle as far as how much can it handle with the current setup, you may run the risk to break it. But the key is discipline, even if you get mad because somebody in a beatup honda smoke your turboed Hoe, you need to resist the urge to crank the boost and go again. Ok I'm taking to long but I think you got the idea!

You are a smart guy, most aren't. Most should take lessons from you.

Hey, I don't have sponsors and I'm not a professional racer as you can tell, so of I'm going to spend that kind of money in my engine I have to take care of it. Besides there is always somebody faster than you, you just have to accept that. In other words be a good looser.:cryin:

Thats not what goes through the minds of most people. I for one always wanted to go faster when I had the Race car. Horsepower is a terrible addiction.

:iagree:

But if you break it, insetad of more horsepower you have no horsepower, therefore you're left with legpower and that is not as fun.:smilielol:

As a famous NASCAR driver whose name escapes me once said, second place is the first guy to lose. :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:
