Subs and Amp

I have an avh p-4000 head unit with the on star adapter hooked up to the rear rca outputs. I am wanting to add some subs and an amp. I am assuming that since the rca outputs are used, that I would have to get a LOC and splice the rear speaker wires and go that route. I was wondering though if there was a different way of doing it to keep me form splicing wires. Also, does anybody recommend a got LOC? I am just running one amp, a Memphis 500.1 D. Thanks in advance for the help.

why not just a get an RCA "Y" splitter at like Best Buy or Radio Shack?

Hell I guess I could go that route. Do you know if they will mess with the onstar adapter? I really appreciate your response man.

wait... that radio has front and rear RCA outs. do your onstar adaptor to the front outputs and the amp to the rear outputs and DONE.... which Onstar adaptor uses RCA???

Hey man thanks for the reply. The onstar adapter that uses RCA's is a PAC OEM.... something.
