Even if my ac is off, air still comes through the vents. Is this normal? I have to press the recirculation button to keep the air from coming in through the vents. When I'm not moving, there is nothing coming through, but as I drive warm air starts coming out of the vents....

You need fresh air intake to avoid suffocation. At least that's what they told me at the dealership. I said I'd rather suffocate than be hot.lol.

I think mine does that too, if I recall. Some designs I noticed cut it completely when off, and some run the natural pressure through when you're moving. I think that's the case with this design, and yeah, if you don't want it you just put it on recirculate and off.

It's normal. The vents stay in the fresh air position unless it's in recirc mode. Air gets forced in throught the cowl becuase of the difference in pressure at the base of the windshield. This is also how cowl induction works on older musclecars.

I've always had that even when I had my 02. I solve the problem by putting the air vents in the low position so that the air doesn't hit me in the face. You should want fresh air to come in anyway or else your truck will start to lose its good smell inside.
