Stripped Wheel Stud Ques.

Hello-

I recently stripped a wheel stud...like an idiot!

Wondering if anyone else has done this? And can you bang them out and replace it? I googled it and there was a video showing a guy doing it, does this apply to all vehicles? It seems simple enough, just hoping I can do this with my Tahoe? Thanks for any replies!!!!!

yea it happens and yea they are some what easy to replace

i use a wheel stud remover. its just a simple 'puller' type tool. and then to install them, you put a few washers on the stud and use an impact gun to run a lug nut into until its seated.
