Sure, I had the stockers on my 01 Hoe that were starting to really annoy the heck out of me when they knocked with every crack in the road, bad bushings in the shocks. I opted to buy the KYB Gas-A-Just shocks and couldn't be happier. Make sure you go to a local shop and a chain store and price them out, have internet pricing with you. I almost got ripped when the local shop wanted almost $800 for my shocks, until I asked him to remove them and reinstall my stock ones, went down the street and got the whole deal installed for about $300.
The ride is substantially smoother to me, less lean, better shock absorbtion and incredibly quiet, then again I also put on a fresh new set of BFG AT KOs so it rides like a leather couch now. Yes, I do recommend new shocks
