Hey everyone, I am new here. I have a question. I have an '02 Yukon and the steering wheel does not have the radio steering wheel controls.

Does this truck come pre-wired for this? In other words can I buy steering wheel with radio controls on it?

I have the Pioneer Z2 in the truck and I want to control it from the steering wheel.

Thanks:cool2:

Hi Bill. Yes, you would need to get a steering wheel with the factory controls on it. Once you get that we can offer you the wiring kit for the steering wheel control interface to your Pioneer headunit...

Hi. Yes, that would be correct! I would sell you an Axxess unit, not PAC, just for quality reasons...

Hi. The kit you would need from Axxess would be $59.99 plus shipping. We have these in stock and ready to ship ASAP! It is a direct plug in, yes... The Axxess Interface is much higher quality and has a much better warranty. Install takes less than 10 minutes in our shop, less than four wires, and complete step by step instructions...

The ASWI-PS from Axxess allows the user to retain the use of their steering wheel or rear seat radio controls when replacing the factory head unit. Works with Pioneer and Sony radios with wired remote inputs. The ASWI-PS also retains the use of heater control buttons on GM vehicles. Assign the buttons on the steering wheel to any of the 9 specific Pioneer functions. The ASWI-PS has a non-volatile memory, which retains all programming, even if the vehicle battery is disconnected. Great for convertibles or sunroofs, unlike most of the PAC units, the ASWI-PS is not affected by direct sunlight due to its direct connection. See all of Axxess's available solutions: http://www.axxessinterface.com/default.aspx

I just Purchased the Panasonic Strada Double Din Navigation / DVD player and was wondering if there is a direct plug in unit for this? IF not what would my options be for retaining the steering wheel controls.
