I have a 99 4WD and when I am on a curve (Mostly Turning right) the truck will Jerk in the direction I am turning...

I have changed the Following:
Ball joints
Tie rod ends
Pitman Arm
Idler arm
The thing that the Idler arm Attaches to...
Tire rod adjusting sleaves

I can grab the Tire and it has left to right play and I see movment in the steering gear but I have no "Major" play in the steering wheel.

My Question is... Can I adjust the steering gear to get that paly out or should I just replace it? I dont mind replacing it... but if it can be adjusted I would rather do that.

My next question is... What is the proper way to adjust the steering gear? Do you just try tightening the bolt on the top and check to see if the plat is gone, or is there more to it? I have checked alldata and I dont see to much about it.

Thanks in advance!

Does it do it all the time and feel like you're hitting a patch of ice?

Wonder if it's a bad EVO sensor...

I had the same issue with the 97 I bought three weeks ago, took advice on the evo sensor, followed instructions, and problem solved.
