I have a new to me 98 Tahoe, 4dr, 4WD with about 133,000 miles on it. It starts fine when cold, and immediately after shut off, but if you wait 20/30 min, it takes a 4 Mississippi count to start. If I wait an hour, instant start. I am not getting any codes yet. I have only had the rig a few weeks and was getting ready to do some preventative maintenance, figure I will add this to the list.

I was planning on doing the fuel pump, could it be this?
Thanks

no fuel pump failure would= hesitating to go up on a hill or mountain it would feel like it was misfiring but not really my guess could be starter going bad and not the fuel pump.
