Can someone please help me. I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe that I bought used. The vehicle runs great all summer with no problems at all. When the cold weather hits the engine light comes on and it takes it more than a 1/2 hour to warm up and start idling properly. It will stall at every stop light and stop sign on my way to work. When the weather warms up again the light goes off and it runs great until the next cold day where the light comes on again. I live in Jacksonville FL. Thank you for your help.

Since you stated your check engine light comes on, I would take the truck to an auto parts chain store, like Autozone, and have them use their code reader to let you know what code/codes your truck has. BTW, they do this for free.

Get that done, then report your findings back here,K,

did you find out what code you are setting? I have this same problems and have a code set that says the PCM lost communication with the Throttle Actuator control module. HAve gone through connections, replaced the PCM and the TACM with no luck. You the first person to describe my problem besides me. EVen have a GM dealership stumped.
