Just drove my Tahoe for the first time in slow today, crazy, huh :smilielol: ? Had to make a trip up to north Alabama for business and it's like a blizzard for me up here (probably only amounted to 2.5 inches) having only driven in snow a couple times in my life. Anyways, it handled beautifully in the snow and ice, but I had a question. I kept Stabilitrak on throughout the trip, but it seems like it was flashing up "Stability System Active" and "Traction Active" more than it wasn't. I thought I read somewhere that causing traction control to come on excessively will mess up your truck. Do yall that deal with the snow everyday turn it off or just leave it alone. I'll leave it on for the trip home tomorrow if it's doing no harm, it probably saved my inexperienced ass quite a few times today  !

I haven't heard that one, it comes on to let you know that it is working and also to let you know you might be driving too aggressive for conditions.
