Squeal

[VF1000R]

Wife is reporting that sometimes when she leaves work , after letting the tahoe sit for the day , that upon starting the engine a horrendus squeal is heard.

She says she immediately turns off the engine and then starts it again in a minute. No problem.

I'm suspecting from the description it sounds like something in the belt system is sticking.

It's not happening every day , maybe once a month or so.

Any thoughts ?

That actually happens with my work tahoe, I still haven't gotten it repaired but I suspected it was coming from the AC so I turned it off and the noise went away. then I turned the ac back on the noise was gone. I haven't heard it in awhile.
