Hi, I am new to the forum. I just got a 08 Z71 Tahoe about two weeks ago. I did not notice it until about the second day that every time I am on an uneven road with potholes the front end squeaks. You cant really hear it when the radio is up but it is driving me crazy especially since the car is new. Does anyone have any ideas about why it may be doing this? I am taking it to the dealership on Monday but I would like to have some idea of what is wrong. Thanks in advance.

The dealer just called me. It ended up being two bolts rubbing on the bottom of the front end. I have not picked it up yet but im hoping that is the end of the issue.

I just got back from the dealer with my tahoe. It turns out that the very lowest panel in the front end has I think he said 4 or 5 screws. Well for some reason my tahoe had two screws in it that were larger than the others. The screws were rubbing against the plastic and causing the noise. I am not sure if all tahoes have this screw setup and it was just causing a problem in mine or if it was a screwup at the factory.
