Speedometer Issues

I was just driving down the road today and all of a sudden my speedometer went haywire. It started to shift back and forth and when i came to a stop light and it went to zero it stayed there. It came back for a while when i hit the dash, but i'm not to crazy about doing that again. Anyone have any ideas about what might be happening?

Cluster is going out, call a dealer mine was recalled and they fixed it for free. Mine would freeze at one speed and start over from there, sometimes i was pulling into my drive way and doing over 120:eek2:
