When I start my 2003 Tahoe I hear a sound like a blower motor running up around the DVD player in the headliner but I have everything turned off that has to do with A/C or heat and I can still hear it. Anyone have this problem or suggestions? Thank you very much.:confused2:

I was wondering the same thing, kinda. Right above my left ear, looks like a vent or some sort of small speaker grill. Sounds like a lil fans in there and the bearings are bad or something. Is that the same thing you're experiencing or is it closer to the actual a/c heating.

The little grille to the left of your head is the sensor for the auto air conditioning.

I've heard where dust can get clogged up in there and I know it pops right out. You might take a look and see if it's dirty. It's a little tricky to get it back in there though...takes a little coaxing.

The noise comes from around the center of the headliner toward the back, behind the dvd player.:confused2:
