ok so I went to autozone a couple of months ago and couldnt figure out what lower ball joints i need 1996 yukon 4x4. Can somebody help me out? Which ones do I need. I am leaning towards the stamped control arm ones, but cant say for sure...

You need to look at your control arms to see what type you have. The different models LT, 1500, 2500 will vary. Some will have rivets that you can drill out and bolt in new ones; others will need to be pressed out/in.
