side mirror question

has anyone ever up graded there old mirrors with the newer model style with turn signal lights in the mirror? im thinking one would have to tap into existing wiring to make it work, and was wondering if anyone has ever done this. any pointers or suggestions would be great.

Do a search. There was a topic a while back about adding the power fold/turn signal mirrors to a non power/signal mirrored truck. I posted a diagram in the thread with the wire colors, pin locations, etc. If I find it later, I'll post the link for you.

ok thanks i will see if i can find it, hopefully its not to painful because a friend of mine gave me a brand new set that he got from his wreck and decided to go with painted after market instead.
