Service engine soon light

I have a 2000 Yukon with a 5.3 liter and it is running great but i just got the service engine soon light so can anyone tell me what it might be.

Too many codes that it could be. My opinion is to take it to a parts store like Autozone and have them hook up their code reader to your trucks ALDL connector.

This will retrieve the codes. Once you have the code, come back here and let us know what it is. We will then try to help you out.

Oh and this is a free service from any parts store.
