So I put the Yukon in Auto 4wd the other day and the service 4wd light came on. It still engages in Auto and 4hi, but makes clunk and goes back to
2wd when I try to put it 4lo. Anyone have this issue, and a possible fix? From what I have been reading it could be the switch, or the encoder motor. I checked and changed the transfer case and front differential fluids in case that was the issue, but still the same. Once this code comes up does it have to be erased at the dealer? Thanks for any help!
