schrader valve

hey guys anyone ever had fuel spray out of their shrader valve when you turn ur ignition on?..when the fuel pump kicks on it shoots a stream of fuel thru the scrader valve...anyone got any idea what it is?

The only way that would happen is if the screw in the shrader valve is loose, would need to be tightened. Or there may be some debris that has caused the valve to be depressed and that is why its leaking

how do u tighten it? it isnt staying pressed it thas what i thought it may be

I dont know if it will work cause it might be a different size, but a tool to remove the screw, I dont know the right name, in the middle of the schrader valve might be the same tool as some tires shops use to remove air quickly from a tire. Or it could be the size that is used with the Air conditioning.

Yes, it's the same tool as the tire valves.

I used to remove that valve on other cars to use for fuel feed when installing nitrous kits. =)

search Valve Core Tool and you should find tons of them. probly really cheap too.
