Resetting oil change notice?

My oil change guy retired and left this hot as hades place.
Soooooo, I changed the oil in the '05 Tahoe and don't know how to reset the "Change Oil" notification that still pops up in the Odometer window.

If it is like mine you just turn key to "on" and depress the gas pedal to the floor 3 times and then turn key off. On restart the light should be out.

Oil Change Reset

On my 2005, with the oil life percentage displayed, press and hold the next button (the arrow button on the steering wheel that you cycle through the tire pressures with) until it says "Oil Life Reset" (or similar - I can't remember exactly) and press again. If this doesn't work for you, let me know and I'll get the exact wording from the manual.
