I searched, but didn't see my answer.
I have a 2006 tahoe and I need to replace the passenger side mirror. I ordered a replacement online, but it doesn't seem to fit. The stock mirror's wiring goes way down into the lower part of the door but the new one ends in a harness after around 5 inches. Could it be the wrong year mirror or do I need to splice this bad boy in. Looks like the only way to replace the mirror is to pull the entire door panel if I can find a new mirror with the longer wiring. Do I have to break the little plastic capped rivet things to pull the door panel?
