I am looking for highway tread tires for my '08 Z71 AT 18" tires, but not many exact replacements seem available.

The vehicle has ABS, stabilitrak, & pressure monitors.

If replacements are different overall diameter, will issues arrise with the electronic monitoring systems?

I noticed that the stock 20" tires are of a slightly different OD than my 18s.

Is there reprogramming needed by the dealer or just mount and drive?

you might have to reset the tmps system, but thats easy. there are many options that you can go with in changing the over all diameter of the tire and it will not change anything on the vehicle at all. if you want a good option that is slightly bigger in the 18" go with the 275/65r18 Bridgestone dueler at revo! great tire with great looks.

Thanks,
We have the Dueler ATs. They work well but we need a less aggressive tread for the sand on the beach. The AT tread tends to dig holes rather than float.

look at the dueler HL alenza, they make it in many 18" sizes. What beach do you drive on? East Coast?

I want the Alenza, but the oem sizes are only on the 17" and 20" sizes. The 18" needs to be 185s.

Right, East Coast beaches on the Outer Banks.

Well I am sure you can find a size close to the factory OD in the Alenza. I actually work for Bridgestone/Firestone in VA. I have a beach house in Corolla, NC, so i know all about driving on the beach. The Alenza is great on the sand. Everyone in my family has them. Let me try to find what size would be right in the 18'"

the p275/65r18" is .1 of an inch taller than the OE overall diameter tire size. This will be your best replacement tire with the best ride and wet traction. 100% better than anything else out there.

I missed that one, but it's .6" taller than the AT which is 31.5".
The 175 /65 Alenza is 32.1" od. Specs say 649 rpm vs 661.

No other calibration settings expected to be needed?
ABS, TC, Stabilitrak, etc?

Something that may be of concern is if the rear locking differential had to be run with 2 different sized tires. The spare is the same od as the ATs at 31.5".
