Replacement for Center Jump Seat...

I'm new here and am the proud owner of a new, '07 Tahoe LS. I know that's base and many others here are rockin' leather, the nav system and other accoutrements, but the LS will fit my mission just fine... Except for one thing.

It didn't take long to learn this the hard way -- there's just no real storage in this vehicle. My glove box holds only my owner's manual, Garmin GPS and registration/insurance paperwork. The center console, which is the back of the center jump seat, is just an open bin and a couple of cupholders... Practically useless. Which leads me to my question.

Has anyone seen a center console solution to replace the jump seat, which I'll never have use for? I'd love something similar to the closed storage bin/armrest on the spendier Tahoes.

Any ideas?

I just joined this forum and read your question. I also own an LS, but have done modifications to it. I know that the LT and up front center consoles are interchangeable, however they hold the rear temp controls on the back of the console. If you're interested, I know that these are commonly sold on Ebay by law enforcement, fire and military agencies that convert LS models into service vehicles. I hope this helps some.

I'll have to look into that. I even work for a PD. Seeing one of our sergeant's new PD Edition '07s is what first turned me on to the Tahoe. Thanks for the tip

I have a centerconsole that i would like to trade for a jumpseat.
My console is tan.
One small problem: I live in Denmark in Europe - but shipping can be arranged.

Oh - sorry, saw that your interior color is grey, and mine is tan, so the swap isent such a good idea.
Anyone else have a tan jumpseat that they will trade for a original tan centerconsole?
