Rear Wiper Problem - 2003 Yukon SLT

Hi all, i searched the archive, and couldn't find an answer to my question.

My rear wiper will not fully go down into its housing when not in use. The wiper will sweep the glass, pause for a split second, and then try to descend into the holder. It will make a noise like it is hitting something and then stop on the glass. I can physically pull the wiper down out of the way in order to open the glass if I need to.

any one else have this issue and know of a solution? Thanks

I just replaced my wiper motor on mine. It was doing that and suddenly stopped. search ebay. I got mine for $60 new and install is really simple. I believe the motor clutch is going out on yours.
