So after replacing carpet I started to throw my seats back in. It was kinda frustrating because I replaced the old carpet padding with 1/2 padding and doubled up on the exhaust side.. so my bolts didnt want to go in at first.

This brings me to my problem the rear seats especially gave me a hard time with the bolts and when I finally tighten them down the release lever for the seat gets stuck and I need an enormous amount of force the pull the tab.

I suspect I made the mistake of doubling up in spots because thatsone inch verses maybe a half inch for where the factory doubled up. Im gonna remove a layer and see if that works can someone tell me if my hunch is right?

Unbolt it one bolt at a time to see if it helps, does it work ok? If so the seat may be twisting..... You can shim it with some thicker washers.....
