I am having some problems with the back end on my tahoe. It "rocks" pretty severely when I go over any kind of bump whatsoever. Imagine how the front end of your vehicle does when you slow go over a speed bump. Well, my back rocks like that but about 100 times worse.

My tahoe has 222K miles on it. The only thing I've really done to it is replace tires, do tuneups, had to replace a fuel filter, alternator, and most recently a new set of shocks. Could it be the u joints?

Let me know what y'all think.

Could be shocks... sway bar bolts tight? now by rocks you mean side to side correct? if so, then it could be a combination of old shocks.. loose sway bar end links or control arm bushings.

I would check the shocks you could have a broken one and your riding on the springs/leaf springs and that would make it do what your saying

Poor choice in shocks or your rear sway end links are wallowed out. Get the truck on a hoist and check it out, I'm guessing shocks so buy some rancho rs9000xl's.
