Does anyone know how to deactivate the feature which requires the vehicle to be in park before unlocking the rear doors in a 2008 Tahoe? This vehicle is being used as a service vehicle, and individuals need to be able to quickly enter and exit the rear doors while the vehicle is in gear.

on your front cluster there is a little screen that shows your miledge, there are four bottons on your dash. if you press each one it will show you diff info about your truck ex: miles, oil life, tire psi i think the third botton will bring you to the lock option when you get to it press the fourth botton to change it to what you want

There are detailed instuctions in the owner's manual also.

Can't seem to find it, I've scoured the owner's manual time and again. This applies to the 2008 Tahoe, right? I will try with the buttons, tho
