Rain guards

I'm interested in installing rain guards on my 2012 Tahoe. The only ones that I will use are the ones that fit in the window channel. I know these are not recommended for some vehicles,(Toyota 4-Runners) due to wind noise and other issues but I have not seen anything on this for Tahoe's. Can anyone offer some input on this?

Thanks for the reply. I have a 06/ 4 Runner and nobody recommends installing the the in-channel guards due to the close fit in the window channel. Are you aware of any such issues with the Tahoe?
