Radio install = cutting?

2005 Yukon Denali, i bought an Alpine W505 and all the associated adapters and dash kit, now a quick question i have to trim the dash to fit this in cause its longer than the stock radio, anyone have a link to show pics of an install that involved trimming behind the radio?

If the inside part of the dash is the same as my '04 Z71 (I think it is), this is the only part that needs to be removed for a double din install:

yup i just unscrewed the whole thing and cut the whole back out with a sawzall for my eclipse so when i put it back in the car all that there was was the sides
