Hey guys, first off i am new to this forum so hello everyone. I just have a couple questions about my system in my 99 Denali. I figured why not ask people that drive the same size of truck as i do!? :waytogo: I currently have 2 12inch Kicker CVR's in kicker box, powered off a Hifonics Brutus BRE1100.1 at 2 ohms. Now i know there is PLEEEENTY of room for improvement to my system, but it seems my truck just has too much air space for these guys to be loud like they should be! I was wondering what would be a good setup that would give me alot more SPL, i dont really care as much about SQ as i do SPL. Now like i said i know the cvrs are far from the best subs out there, but i got a great deal on them so i figured why not give them a try!...Im sure theres alot of you out there that have systems in your tahoe/yukons, i would jus like to know what i could get pounding good for around or under $1,000! thanks guys ;)

Am not a pro but i havbe a pro working on my truck a 99 tahoe he build me a box for 2 15 inch l5 kickers but bass was thumping as along as i kept the hatch closed the minute i open the hatch there goes my bass I wasn't happy because i have a show truck. He is in the process of building me now a band pass box with the same speakers. In total the box is 8 cubes. I hope this helps and again am not a pro am just learning as i go.
