I just purchased some black/superfinish Boss 24's for my Tahoe. I want to put them on but need some advice. How do I avoid pitting and crud from the winter here in Missouri? Will the road salt/grime effect the black painted spokes and super finish lips as much as it does standard chrome?

The salt will tear into just about any finish if you don't religiously keep them clean. That's the bad thing about living in northern states and along the coasts. But it's my understanding that a lot of places are using some sort of new non-corrosive ice-melting compound. But either way, I'd wipe them down as often as possible during the winter.
