Anyone have any idea what could cause this? Bought my tahoe in December of 08. Power windows all worked fine. As soon as temperature outside started getting warmer, driver side window would work intermittently and I noticed that it seemed to be related to the temperature outside. Eventually as it got warmer, it quit working altogether.
Fastforward to this winter and it started working again until today when the temp hit 70.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

hot and cold

They're right about having to change the motor. From what I've been told by people smarter than me is that inside every car's power window motors there's a thermocouple switch. When that switch senses the mechanism is getting too hot, it shuts it down until its cooled down enough to operate again. I believe there is no way to simply change out this thermocouple, you just have to get a new motor. Replacing it won't be a fun job, either.
