As logic tells me, tow/haul mode is basicly a relay telling the trucks computer to use different shift points and such.... am i right so far?

Now... if that is in fact the case... would it be possible to have black bear do a tune in such a way that my normal driving mode (not tow/haul) would be relativly modest for every day driving and fuel savings and than alter the tow haul mode for somthing super aggresive for when i am having a pissed off sort of day :shy:

This would be great... almost seems like i could have the best of both worlds

Tow/haul is only for changing shift points, so we can only change the TM within shifts, pressure in shifts, and lock/unlock of torque converter.

hmmmmm.... and still more to think about... what are some of the creative things people are doing with the tow/haul mode portion of the tune (if any)

Most people are just asking for more aggressive shifts in the tow-haul mode. Depends on the type of driving you would like to do with it. DD or performance?

I dont touch my tow haul button at all. My regular tune is quite a bit more aggressive than most peoples tunes. All depends on your preference!

Yeah- you gotta put a decent amount on the engine to get one of these land yahts to burn out on the line!

Changing the shift points will make some significant changes in different powerbands.
