ive been driving it with this code for a while(po420 low catalyst bank 1), and although the truck runs fine, its now due for inspection, and resetting computer only lasts for 10-20 miles , not long enough for the monitors to reset. anyone had this and what was your findings. nesw cats, o2's or both ?

just the cats. if the o2's are working there is no need to replace them.

p0420 only sets if the front and rear o2s are reading close to the same indicating that the cat is not reducing the pollutants coming from your motor.. change the cat.
