ok i bought a airaid cai and got a free tb spacer with it a few months ago. i also already had a flowmaster muffler and a superchips flashpaq to adjust for my 24's installed. i put the intake on a few weeks before i got the spacer in the mail and never had any problems until i put the spacer on!! has anyone else had any issues with spacers on your tahoes. i have an 03 with the 5.3 engine and it just doesnt seem to have the get up and go that it used too. it actually seems like i have to give it more gas to go from a stop and on the freeway than i did when it was stock. plus i dont hear any whistle from the spacer either, which i have heard on any thing i have ever put one on very loud. so is there a chance that i have installed it wrong or do the spacers just not work well for the tahoe or since i can load custom tunes on my programmer should i go that route and hope it works? even though i have my mustang to go fast in, i would still like to feel some kind of performance out of my mods i have done. thanks for any info i can get from you guys!!!

PS. have any of you guys used the flashpaq and how can i get a custom tune on it, and how do i post pics on here cant seem to get any of my pics to upload on here.
Thanks again

Alot of people on these boards say TB spacers are useless for our trucks. I'd take that off first and see if that helps at all. I wish I could help you more.

1. Remove Throttle Body Spacer
2. Throw in Garbage
3. Drive Truck Without Issue

Though I have never had one on my Tahoe, I researched the TB extensively as I'm looking at a little better mpg and better pick up.

Unquestionably, without any hesitation, and I was ready to purchase a TB, everyone I have talked to, read from their post, researched with motor trend, the universal take is that they are a complete waste of your money.

Now I'm trying to find out if a MAF would help my set up as I already have a Volant in place.

Maf won't help, the stock computer compensates for fueling and there are plenty of people running forced induction on stock or descreened mafs.
