What engine/ year? EGR (4wires), CTS (2wires), the aluminum pipe looks like heater hose assembly and it is a doorman item, altho that isnt stock looking there.. Part# 626105 Dorman part.

Oops,98, 5.7 and the round black part with the 4 wires coming out of it.

That is the EGR valve, it is available almost anywhere that sells parts, is it messed up or something? Should throw a code if it is bad, may pull it off and find the passages are plugged up with carbon, check/ clean that first. Could hose the ports with carb cleaner, run a pipe cleaner down in it, start truck to blow crap out....

Yep, got a code, traced it to the EGR. Knocked a lot of carbon out of it, SES went out and my idle is better. I figure I will replace it before it gets clogged up again.

I got a code once, Ran the PI$$ outta it and it cleared up......
