so would it be easier for me to do the work myself as far as painting my emblems (front and back) white like my paint color, or just easier (less time but more money i'd imagine) to go to a paint shop and have them do it.. undoubtedly it'll be easier for them to paint match..

anyone who's done this, how much did it cost -- just to have the gold emblems resprayed?

The cheapest method would be to cover in vynl, but it would not match your white paint exactly. The vynl is pretty durable. I have a brushed aluminum one on my older Ford pick-up truck. It has held up real well. I have scrubbed it very hard to remove bug guts over the years.

Take them off and paint them yourself. I think I've heard somebody say that the Kyrlon Fusion white paint matches!:D
